The New Emerge Church 2020 Welcome Speech
I was so delighted when I was informed that I was selected to speak about the Emerge Church(church for teenagers by teenagers) at the launch of our new church building. This was after a gruelling audition process. I am grateful for the reception I received from the church and hope that someone watching for the 1st time will be encouraged to join our dynamic vibrant church.
Church is the place that has harboured me, nurtured me, and taught me how to navigate my daily life. Now, as you will be able to see in the video above, I have channeled this passion into a speech delivered on the day we moved into a new building. A truly notable day with new faces, a new atmosphere, and new energy.
This was my special opportunity for me to show newcomers from across the city what teenagers in EMERGE CHURCH are really all about, and it was an honour to be a representative of this branch of my church.
